These findings indicate that the medical capabilities inherent in TCM's herbal and nutritional systems far exceed the traditional boundaries of "supplemental nutrition" and "chronic conditioning."
They suggest that TCM may directly enter core domains such as pathogen control, drug resistance reversal, emergency anti-collapse, neural damage control, and life system repair, thereby opening an entirely new medical direction.
Third-party in vitro experiments demonstrate that certain herbal nutritional formulas directly inhibit Streptococcus pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Acinetobacter baumannii, Staphylococcus aureus, and some drug-resistant strains, challenging the long-held belief that direct antimicrobial action is exclusive to antibiotics and suggesting potential to address limitations of existing antibiotics.
SARS-CoV-2 cell experiments further show that samples inhibit viral replication within concentration ranges exhibiting low or no toxicity to host cells.
In SIV-chronically infected rhesus macaques, viral loads in some treatment groups significantly decreased and remained lower than pre-intervention levels even after discontinuation. Real-world cases also observed pathogen clearance, negative nucleic acid tests, lung inflammation absorption, blood oxygen recovery, and mechanical ventilation withdrawal.
The most shocking implication is that a single natural herbal nutritional formula can maintain low toxicity to host cells while directly acting on bacteria, drug-resistant bacteria, and viruses.

Current results show that natural TCM herbal nutrition can both "support vitality" and directly "eliminate pathogens"; it can not only condition the body but also potentially enable humans to respond to superbugs, emerging viruses, and highly mutable viruses in a safer, broader-spectrum, repeatable, verifiable, and highly efficient manner, thus becoming a new medical force.
The drug resistance problem with antibiotics and other chemical molecular drugs has become a global medical crisis threatening human survival. Current medicine primarily relies on developing stronger new antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, and targeted therapies to maintain treatment efficacy, but the speed of pathogen resistance evolution is continuously catching up to or even surpassing new drug development. Our research results propose a completely different breakthrough path.
In real cases, long-term dominant multi-drug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii infections showed a trend of shifting from resistance to sensitivity and eventually ceased to dominate. Subsequently emerging pathogens did not re-establish the early high-resistance patterns, and many common antibiotics regained efficacy. Pathogen clearance, reduced inflammation, improved drug sensitivity spectra, and changes in subsequent infection ecology collectively indicate a directional restructuring of the body's entrenched resistance patterns, proving that resistance states are not inevitably worsening and can be altered and re-controlled.
TCM herbal nutrition directly reduces pathogen pressure while rebuilding the body's immune, inflammatory, nutritional, metabolic, and microbial ecological order, gradually depriving resistant pathogens of their long-term advantageous survival conditions. In vitro experiments show that certain herbal nutritional samples can reduce hemolysis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. The medical significance of anti-hemolysis far exceeds ordinary antibacterial effects.
Red blood cells are responsible for oxygen transport in the body. Once pathogens, inflammation, and toxins damage red blood cells, tissue oxygenation, microcirculation, and organ function can rapidly deteriorate, potentially leading to respiratory failure, organ failure, and multi-system decompensation. Thus, for critically ill patients with bacterial or viral infections, a safer, broader-spectrum, and more efficient emergency treatment plan may be possible. In critical cases, we have observed rapid blood oxygen recovery, improved respiratory status, significantly extended weaning time, mechanical ventilation withdrawal, and life status transitioning from critical to stable.
ALS is recognized as one of the most severe and cruel neuronal rare diseases. For over two centuries, its progression has been considered uncontrollable, continuously worsening, rapidly disabling, and ultimately leading to respiratory failure and death. Modern medicine still lacks effective methods to fundamentally alter its natural course.
Our landmark case, nearly four years post-diagnosis, maintains near-normal activity levels; after systematic intervention, functional scores have not declined over nearly two years, the neural damage biomarker NfL has continuously decreased, and electromyographic damage has not spread to new neural segments—these results are unprecedented in medical history.
Another patient, five years post-diagnosis, retains self-care abilities. Across early, mid, late, and critical stages, we continue to observe improved swallowing, enhanced respiratory capacity, extended weaning time, partial micro-movement recovery, and overall functional maintenance.
In over a dozen ALS cases accumulated by our team, we have observed varying but consistently positive responses. Given the limited patient population and highly complex disease progression of rare diseases, these results already hold significant statistical, mechanistic, and further validation value.
These findings, across disease progression, function, biomarkers, electrophysiology, and overall life status, for the first time suggest that ALS may exhibit the following changes: disease progression can be controlled, function can be preserved, damage can be reduced, and some lost functions may be restored. Once validated through larger-scale, multi-center, and systematic research, their medical historical significance would be comparable to humanity's first breakthrough in a long-term incurable disease.
Their implications extend far beyond ALS. ALS is the most severe model of neural damage in the entire neuronal disease system. While many neuronal rare diseases present differently clinically, they may share common mechanisms such as neural damage, neuroinflammation, immune abnormalities, abnormal protein accumulation, energy metabolism disorders, and persistent self-destruction of the neuroimmune system. If humanity can tackle the most severe ALS, it means a real, systematically verifiable path to conquering other neural damage-related diseases and neuronal rare diseases has emerged.
This could open unprecedented medical possibilities for hundreds of millions of patients with neuronal diseases lacking effective drugs and fundamental treatments.
The above four achievements are not isolated.
They collectively point to a unified medical capability of TCM herbal nutrition: externally directly countering pathogens and toxins, internally rebuilding immune, inflammatory, nutritional, metabolic, and microbial balance, and on this basis, activating neural compensation, red blood cell protection, organ stabilization, cellular renewal, and tissue repair.

Objective results such as pathogen inhibition, viral load, drug sensitivity spectra, NfL, inflammatory markers, blood oxygen, lung function, and tissue repair are systematically expressing previously abstract and empirical TCM theories in detectable, statistical, repeatable, and verifiable modern scientific language.
This may become the initial discovery for TCM to break through long-standing doubts such as "unscientific, slow, non-repeatable, non-verifiable, difficult to achieve broad-spectrum efficiency, unable to provide emergency care, unable to directly combat viruses," and may become a historical turning point for Eastern medicine to re-enter the global mainstream scientific system.
Over eighty years ago, antibiotics were rapidly accepted worldwide for their direct, fast, and repeatable antibacterial effects, thereby changing the landscape of modern medicine.
Today, our four research achievements similarly present significant signals of direct, rapid, broad-spectrum, repeatable, and verifiable results in the fields of pathogens, drug resistance, anti-hemolytic emergency care, and ALS control.
This set of achievements may become the historical starting point for TCM to break through long-standing scientific cognitive barriers and re-enter the global stage.
(I) Our Goals
Our goal is to take the current breakthrough results as a starting point and conduct comprehensive, systematic, and closed-loop scientific research on the four major projects to uncover their fundamental mechanisms and announce them to the world in a modern scientific manner that can be understood, verified, and repeated globally.
Future research will focus on the multi-molecular, multi-element, multi-target, and multi-pathway action networks in TCM herbal nutritional formulas, deeply studying plant-derived extracellular vesicle or exosome-like active components, mitochondrial metabolism and cellular energy activation, immune reconstruction, abnormal protein clearance, microcirculation, and neural repair mechanisms.
Combining big data, artificial intelligence, omics technologies, and modern computing power, we hope to transform the current results into a complete scientific system that is measurable, statistical, computable, predictable, and verifiable, ultimately breaking the long-standing dilemma of TCM's inability to obtain modern scientific certification.
We plan to collaborate with authoritative research institutions, universities, hospitals, and relevant experts and scholars both within and outside the system at multiple centers and levels to advance the current four breakthroughs from major observations to mechanism elucidation and from real-world results to international scientific conclusions.
(II) Our Difficulties
We are a small enterprise with limited resources. The current achievements stem from the founder's unwavering belief in TCM science, "food therapy as the highest medicine," and TCM herbal nutritional medicine over the past twenty-plus years, as well as the team's step-by-step research, practice, and accumulation under conditions lacking large-scale research platforms and sufficient external resources. Relying on the founder's personal investment, limited market sales revenue, and modest funding, we have persevered to this day and achieved disruptive results that may have medical historical significance. The stark contrast between our resource conditions and the value of the achievements further underscores that these studies deserve re-examination by national-level research systems, authoritative institutions, and socially elite forces with strategic vision.
We firmly believe that with the support of authoritative institutions, entrepreneurs, and social elites possessing a broad vision, strategic insight, and a sense of historical responsibility, the four current breakthroughs could very likely become an important turning point for TCM to break through long-term obscurity and usher in a scientific dawn.
Regardless of external conditions, even if we ultimately must rely on our own strength, we will steadfastly continue until scientific validation is completed. This is our confidence in TCM science as Chinese people and our responsibility to Chinese medical civilization.
We understand that the current achievements are at a critical stage of transitioning from major observations to systematic scientific validation. Major breakthroughs in scientific history often first manifest as a set of results that contradict traditional cognition but repeatedly appear across different models, patients, and research levels. Over eighty years ago, antibiotics were rapidly recognized worldwide for their clear antibacterial effects, changing the direction of human medicine. Today, our results in pathogen inhibition, drug resistance reversal, anti-hemolytic emergency care, and control of neuronal rare diseases represented by ALS may similarly become the starting point for a new medical force to be recognized and rapidly developed by the world.
The current four directions have simultaneously presented significant signals supported by real-world observations, in vitro experiments, animal experiments, and modern medical indicators, providing a realistic foundation for in-depth research and the establishment of a complete scientific closed loop.
We sincerely request that social authoritative research institutions, hospitals, universities, public welfare funds, entrepreneurs, industrial capital, and socially influential forces jointly support the establishment of a systematic, scientific, and repeatable research system for the four major projects.
Key areas requiring development:
1. Research on the component spectrum, quality standards, and batch consistency of TCM herbal nutritional formulas;
2. Standardized repeatable validation experiments for antibacterial, antiviral, drug resistance reversal, anti-hemolytic, organ protection, and anti-collapse effects;
3. Establishment of animal models for infection, drug resistance, viruses, neural damage, and organ failure;
4. Research on immune reconstruction, mitochondrial function, microcirculation, extracellular vesicles, abnormal protein clearance, and neural repair mechanisms;
5. Multi-center real-world cohort and standardized clinical studies for ALS and other neuronal diseases;
6. Third-party validation, data governance, international paper publication, and global result dissemination.
We propose the following cooperation model:
Enterprises provide long-term real-world results, product foundations, and continuous follow-up experience;
Research institutions undertake mechanism, animal, omics, and safety evaluations;
Authoritative platforms, public welfare funds, entrepreneurs, and industrial capital provide systematic resource support.
Our preliminary estimate is that completing systematic research, mechanism validation, multi-center cohort studies, international paper publication, and result transformation for the above four directions based on current research will require approximately USD 50 million in total funding.
Specific budgets will be professionally segmented and audited according to research stages, cooperating institutions, and technical routes.
We are not requesting ordinary enterprise financing, nor merely market support for a product.
We hope that social authoritative forces, as well as system leaders, entrepreneurs, and industrial funds with historical vision, will jointly complete a scientific task that may reshape TCM's global status and change the future direction of human medicine.
This concerns whether TCM can re-enter the world with modern scientific evidence and whether humanity, when facing super pathogens, immune barriers, drug resistance crises, organ failure, ALS, and neuronal rare diseases, can obtain a new medical path that is safe, broad-spectrum, rapid, possesses systemic repair capabilities, and better aligns with human health needs.
These four projects all address systemic core challenges in contemporary biomedicine that have long remained unsolved.
With systematic resource support, we are positioned to uncover the most fundamental mechanisms from current results, complete the scientific closed loop from real-world observations, basic experiments, animal models to clinical research and international paper publication, and announce to the world a set of Eastern TCM proactive medical achievement systems truly originating from China that may change the future of human health.
We do not wish for such a major discovery, which may reshape TCM's global status and influence the future direction of human medicine, to be missed by the times due to our team's limited scale and insufficient resources.
